Individual Micro-Mobility Concept
This project explores a unique vehicle architecture designed to address the evolving needs of individual and micro-mobility solutions. At a time when the dominant belief was that robotaxis and autonomous driving would lead to increased carpooling, we questioned this assumption and anticipated the opposite effect—a growing desire for personalized, individual transportation. This concept redefines commuting by centering the design around the occupant while also considering ways to reduce traffic congestion and optimize vehicle space usage. By challenging industry assumptions, this project merges comfort, safety, and design innovation to create a visionary step forward in micro-mobility, shaping the future of personal transportation. It integrates Faurecia’s expertise in advanced seating solutions to enhance comfort, accessibility, and safety, offering a fresh perspective on the evolving mobility landscape.

This image showcases a micro-mobility vehicle concept designed around individual occupant safety and accessibility. The vehicle features a front-entry architecture, optimizing ingress and egress for urban commuting. At the core of the design is an advanced safety seat, inspired by Formula 1 and racing car technology, engineered to withstand high-impact collisions while ensuring maximum driver protection.
The seat structure integrates reinforced side supports, impact-absorbing materials, and an ergonomic design that cradles the occupant, providing superior safety in the event of an accident. This approach reimagines urban micro-mobility, combining space efficiency, ease of access, and race-proven safety principles to deliver a secure and practical personal transportation solution.
The supporting images emphasize real-world safety concerns, such as urban cycling accidents due to an open car door and high-speed F1 crash survivability, reinforcing the need for stronger occupant protection in future mobility solutions.
